There will be a $2,500 minimum for participants who will be joining us for our two day event. However you can sign up to ride virtually with no minimum required.
The Registration fee for the 2025 Enbridge Tour Alberta for Cancer is $20. The registration fee is neither refundable nor transferrable.
No, you will not be able to use a credit card to create a delayed self-pledge if you are below the $2,500 fundraising minimum. All funds need to be received by July 19 in order to receive your event packet and participate in the event. If you are below the $2,500 fundraising minimum, you will be able to make a self-donation at packet pick-up prior to the event starting.

Bike Recommendations: While all types of bikes are welcome (subject to rules), we recommend using a road bike for the best experience. And remember—lighter is better!
E-bikes: Pedal assisted electric bikes (E-bikes) with a maximum power of 500 watts and maximum speed of 32 km/h are permitted in the Enbridge Tour Alberta for Cancer. E-bikes with a throttle or are above the maximum wattage or speed are not permitted. This is for the safety of all our participants, volunteers and staff.
Triathlon Bikes: No time trial or triathlon bikes will be permitted. The use of clip on aerobars on a road bike is also not allowed. This is for rider safety (please see below).
Road bike with clip on aero bars: Not allowed.
Traditional triathlon bike: Not allowed.
- Helmets are mandatory and must be worn at all times while on your bike.
- For riders with religious requirements, please contact a Tour Guide to complete a separate waiver.
- Riders must watch our safety video and follow bike safety guidelines which includes proper hand signals, riding single file, have at least one working brake and bike must be equipped with a bell or horn.

Yes, it is 16 years of age for the live event with a parent or guardian. If participating virtually, there is no age limit.

Yes, the dollars raised through the Tour support the Alberta Cancer Foundation. As the official fundraising partner for all cancer centres across the province, donations help improve the patient experience at all Albertas cancer centres through new medical equipment, enhanced treatment and care options, and specialized training for oncology staff.
- Riders must collect their packets to participate in the event.
- Wristbands provided in the packet must be worn throughout the weekend.
- Bike plates included in the packet must be properly displayed on your bike. Bikes without plates will not be permitted on the route and will be removed.
Detailed route maps will be shared closer to the event, once finalized.
- Rest stops with refreshments, medical assistance, and mechanical support will be available along the route. Food, drinks and entertainment will be provided at the festival grounds.
- Camping spots are available at the Strathmore Stampede Grounds in the back 40 lot. Riders must bring their own camping gear including tents or trailers. Camping is permitted for riders only.
Course Access: For safety reasons, only registered participants are permitted to ride on the course. However, family, friends, and loved ones are warmly invited to cheer on riders at designated cheering stations and join the festivities at the festival grounds.
Food Options: Guest meals are available only through pre-purchased wristbands. Please note there is a strict cut-off date for wristband purchases to ensure accurate numbers for our caterers. Wristbands cannot be purchased after the deadline and are non-refundable.
Beverages: Drinks will be available for purchase at the event grounds throughout the weekend.
The event will proceed rain or shine, so be prepared for varying conditions. Safety will remain our top priority.

Please note that if you decide to withdraw, any donations received up to that date are non-refundable or transferable.
