We’ve assembled some simple tips for fundraising, but another great option is to get involved in one (or more!) of the campaigns and challenges that happen in the lead-up to the Tour. Whether you want to focus on building your team, hitting an individual milestone or maximizing the impact of your ongoing efforts, we’re here to help.

Show Off Your Handlebars
This FUN-draising initiative for the Tour is an opportunity to rally your network, embrace the Handlebar lifestyle, and join a powerful community that’s committed to making a lasting local impact.
Funds Stay in Alberta: Every dollar you raise stays local, and directly supports research and treatment in our province.
Virtual Participation: Engage friends, colleagues and family to join your team and fundraise alongside you. There is no requirement to ride in the Tour, but any funds raised will roll up into your team’s goals celebrated at the event.
No Minimum Requirements: There are no fundraising or cycling requirements to join, every donation helps.
Tour support: Funds raised roll up into the Tour from all Handlebar participants even if they don’t plan to ride, so you can expand your team virtually and see those funds count towards your Team fundraising goals!
Engage Your Network to Win: This campaign is not just about raising funds; it’s about having fun and getting your friends and family involved in the Tour. *Everyone who participates and raises a minimum of $25 will be automatically entered to win! Bonus entries for the more handlebars you recruit to the campaign, the more donations you raise, and the more selfie updates you share on social media. Just don’t forget to tag us @TheTourAlberta!

- Register for Free: Sign up to show off your Handlebars today and at no cost.
- Customize Your Page: Create a personal fundraising page and get to work growing and showing off your Handlebar. Already a Tour participant? You can update your page with Handlebar details as a way to encourage donations from now until December!
- Raise Funds & Awareness: Download the handlebar email & social media kit, and reach out to your network using our handy templates to encourage donations!
- Qualify for prizes: Tag us in your Handlebar selfies, recruit friends to the campaign and secure donations from now until Nov 29th for a chance to win! *Two winners (Calgary & Area / Edmonton & Area), will be randomly selected on November 30, 2024.

Match Campaigns
Matching campaigns support Tour participants in accelerating progress toward their personal fundraising goals, boosting supporter’s contributions and inspiring others to join the Tour.
How it Works
- Matching partners provide a lump sum to match all donations received, while funds last.
- Participants make self-donations or ask for support to double their impact and reduce their fundraising requirements.
- All donations are matched automatically and are shown on personal fundraising pages along with acknowledgement of the matching donor.
- Although the funds may be depleted in only a few hours, the requests for support that the match inspires, results in donations and registrations for weeks following the campaign.

Tire Track Qualifier
The Tire Track Jersey is awarded to the first 10 participants who raise $15,000 or more for the Enbridge Tour Alberta for Cancer. It’s an extraordinary opportunity for passionate individuals to make a lasting impact and do something meaningful for the 60 brave Albertans who face the daunting diagnosis of cancer every day.
Tire Track Jersey Qualifiers do it for different reasons. They do it in memory of a loved one, they do it to support friends, they do it for a challenge, they do it to raise awareness, they do it to make a difference. However they do it. They do it for them.
How it Works
- Register for the Enbridge Tour Alberta for Cancer.
- Kickstart your fundraising efforts and raise $15,000 or more.
- Be one of the first 10 participants to reach this impressive milestone.
Team-up Challenge
This year’s winners will get to enjoy a space to relax, a fenced-in patio, some delicious snacks, a stocked bar with alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, all served by your very own Team-up Challenge bartender!
